This website and its discussion forum contains the story of the legendary QE2, told through the stories of the people who travelled on her, worked on her, admired her from afar or helped to build and maintain her.
Our motto, "Keeping the Legend Alive" relates to trying to keep QE2's memory alive, through stories, memories and photographs.
This site is based in the UK, and is not connected with any other company or organisation. The site is run by volunteers using donations on a not for profit basis. The site was created by and is administered by Rob Lightbody.

Get Togethers & QE2 Events
Each year, we host get-togethers to share our QE2
stories in person. These can be on board one
of the current
Cunard ships, or at related maritime events. Our first
was in 2009, and our biggest was the
QE2 50th Anniversary Event in Clydebank in 2017.
We have had trips on the Paddle Steamer Waverley, a visit to the QE2's shipyard including a trip up the famous Titan Crane and we visited the Tall Ships Race in Greenock. We've also been in Southampton and on board the current Cunarders. More details of past and future events, and how to join in, on the forum.
