  We had a bit of a storm during the second night, and the deadlight was firmly fastened by the cabin steward, so that I could not see the sea whooshing past.

if you have ever tried to see how heavy those dead lights are, let me tell you they are very heavy indeed.

When the photo competition was started in 2011, who would have believed it would result in us enjoying so many fabulous photos, that we would not otherwise have seen.  The winning photos in this topic will be considered for the 2024 Calendar. 

Congratulations to Lahrdeco, his "QE2 and SS Norway" photo is a popular winner. 



It was a very close contest with two excellent runner up photos both entered by Shipnshore:
