Did anyone work with Mick Allison. Waiter in the Mauritania 1988

Hi all.
I am just wondering if anyone worked in the Mauritania restaurant in 1988 and 1989 and knew Mick Allison who was from Yorkshire?
My wife has recently found out he was her father and we’re trying to find as much info as we can. Mostly what he was like/ any stories or photos. Anything really.
If anyone could help that would be amazing.
I’ll add a photo of him too.
