I quite like the decor, which is light and clean looking, but I know it may not be to everyone's taste. As we speak I am choosing my seat and thinking about what cocktail I would like.  I hope they will make your QE2 50 cocktail (recipe saved to phone).

Decor looks good only those white sofas and the mixed chairs are my disliking oh and the Britannia Statue really it does not belong in there

Its just bland now (as is much of the refreshed interior)

With the exception of the map over the bar (which I'm incredibly glad they reinstated, but wish they'd get the lighting right behind it), nobody's going to remember that "room" after their visit.

Now at risk of annoying some people on here - apart from some items of furniture, the carpet and perhaps the lighting not much appears to have changed. Maybe dim the lights slightly and more importantly fill it with people.

I think a lot of these spaces look sparse because they were empty when the photo was taken.

What happened to the picture presented from Lloyd Werft in 1987 at the end of the reft, it used to hang on the wall near the bar.

Oh they need to ditch the bar seats , nothing worse that having an old bore sitting at the bar !

I agree; the white chairs spoil the look of it.  Other than that, the colour scheme does appeal to me.

Myles - I have seen an image where the leather panel you refer to is now hanging at the boarded up entrance to the Computer Centre on Two Deck - or at least it was!
