An update on the ships galleys

Queens Grill Galley Boat Deck is been used (seen recent photos)
Mauretania Galley Upper Deck it is closed work here ongoing (seen recent photos)
Main Galley on Quarter Deck it is closed work here ongoing (have not seen photos)
Lido Galley on One Deck is in use
The Crew Galley on One Deck (still to confirm)

What is new is the Central Kitchen this is located on the dockside its a building next to the
Queen Elizabeth 2 terminal (see photo below building marked in red)

Here you find the bakery,pastry and where the Arabic foods are prepared.This building is also
used as storing for the foods

The galleys, on QE2's latest version have always intrigued me. Don't forget I left  Christmas '88. Most of the things like the bain maries, for keeping food warm were steam heated. "Proofing" for bread....steam for doing boiled potatoes....steam, cooking lobsters and soups and rice ....steam.
I know that the present day food service is nowhere near as big as "old times" and a lot of this stuff could be done stove top as being permanently moored, you would not have to worry so much about spillage.
Any thoughts/info on that Luis?

If Food is being cooked on shore, how does it get to the restaraunts on board
