Looks like they can play with the colours. Last time, it was purple, now red.

And the little steps at the edge are there... interesting to see whether they will incorporate them into the future design.

The illuminated bases to the columns seem to have gone or been covered over, which is a real shame as they were an intrinsic part of the design.  I'd also like to see the curtains or screens replaced, to allow the room to be separated from the promenade.

Theres more spin in a day at Carnival HQ than shown in that view... But it was nicely done... :)

I see they've moved the furniture for the "Queens Gin bar" - looks much better now to me.

I checked my old photos, and can see now that they have indeed lost the "crystal" in the crystal bar - there was a fabulous frosted glass? backing in the bar.  Wonder where it is now?

Mentioned earlier the up lights in the Queens Lounge are covered over, but they are also covered over in the midships lobby.

The lights in the floor around the central column?

Yes, if you look at this thread:
https://www.theqe2story.com/forum/index.php/topic,7931.0.html

The first post shows her after the Dubai refit with a little shelf-y thing around the base of the column.  And your post #9 below it shows her in service with 4 up-lights.

I see now! An "interesting" decision for sure...

I'm absolutely certain that this tune will have been played in that room in the past!  So nice to we her lively like this after such a long time laid up.

I'm curious to see her 5 deck entrance, that is in use as well as the midships lobby entrance.

No I don't think it is from memory, looking at photos and videos. Could be E stairwell.
