Can you elaborate for me?  :) I can’t see the Instagram post as Instagram is blocked at our school.  :)

I thought it was more black than grey, is federal grey a Cunard trade mark?

Selection of photos here

Rob
Scrolling through these - and her hull  doesn't look Federal Gray, does it?
Unless it's the light - or perhaps camera, or photo-shopped
it looks to be definitely blue tinted - Parker Blue, perhaps!
Hopefully the red and gold of the Warwick crest can be applied.
And - in other images, there's a Logo (Crown) over the area where red CUNARD used to be.
Rosie

PS edited adding this image by the same photographer
Hopefully it'll work?

Louis has just informed me that QE2 is leaving the Dubai World drydocks tomorrow.

Well, i think they're seriously missing a trick.  This could be QE2's last voyage for many, many years, they should have the world's press there to see the gleaming QE2 come out of dry dock and back to her new berth.

I know that they're doing a big launch at the terminal, but they should do something when she's moving.

Here's the post where he says she's coming out of dock tomorrow

But look at the metal thingies on the hull, are they the sacrificial whotsits?

Looks like there are sacrificial anodes along the photo showing the logo going on.  Wonder how often they are expecting these needing to be replaced.

Yes, Rob - If they wanted publicity beamed across the seas...
However, as well as Lifeboats, she's missing her lovely props on the stern, as well on the hull - Isabelle's clever avatar - and so much more...
Maybe "they" are shy....

Not sure what you mean about the sacrificial thingies - whereabouts are they? ;)

Soon, it'll be lovely to use our own memories again...just hoping with fingers tightly crossed that at the Very Least the Bridge will be open, that they use the Caronia as the main dining room, the Queens Room for Afternoon Tea - and the Yacht Club at Night - with breakfast and lunch outside,
and that so little will be changed on board that we'll hardly notice any difference....#HopeSpringsEternal

She looks very good. I would think that they would have at least have put the new logo with black lettering instead of white with black background..
