August Photo Competition - QE2: 50 Years Unique

I'm so glad the publishers have been able to do this for the forum.
You've all been so instrumental in keeping the QE2 memory alive!

15 photos added to the Photo Competition Album, only 35 to go to meet the target.

Even if you only have one favourite photo please upload it and help support the competition.  Any photo that you think captures QE2's uniqueness. 

We have quite a few exterior photos but there was also a lot that was unique about her interior as well.

We only need another 32 photos. Lets have a special effort to support and celebrate with QE2 on the 50th anniversary of her launch. 

Three easy steps:

1. Check the instructions
2. Enjoy looking at your QE2 photos and choose 3 photos that show the unique QE2
3. Upload the photos to the forum gallery competition album

Next month you can support the other competitors when the voting opens and be proud to have taken part. Maybe even win a prize if you are a winner.

Unique, every photograph of QE2 is unique and therefore any original picture taken by yourself can be uploaded - let's hope that we have 50 pictures posted by next month as we head towards celebrations!

In addition to photos taken by yourself, you could also use photos taken by others who have given you their express permission to upload the pictures -- for instance, photos taken by family members. These pictures would then be credited with their own names if the photos were used for the calendar or any other purpose such as Facebook pictures.

With 28 photos submitted, we are over half way there to having 50 photos for QE2's Golden Anniversary.

There are some magnificent photographs, thank you everyone - just wishing we could show them to QE2, herself.
Her understated way of just 'being there' and working hard,
she shows no sign of vanity!

Thanks for these lovely comments.  QE2 is in the hearts of so many people.

We now have 31 photos.  Only 19 photos required to reach our target of 50 photos for 50 years.

We have 35 photos in the competition album, so only another 15 photos (or 5 people posting 3 photos each) to reach our target. 

Maybe you have already posted a QE2 unique photo in one of the Forum Gallery albums. If you would like it included in the competition let us know an we can post it for you.

I am starting to work on the poll for the photo competition, which is always an enjoyable task, copying to the topic, the wonderful photos that have been submitted.  35 wonderful photos submitted and cannot wait to see the next 15 photos that will help use reach our target.
