Thanks to Pete and Bob C for their responses.  The conference and get together over the week-end will be a fantastic opportunity to catch up with forum members, some I will have met before and others I look forward to meeting for the first time.

Hi Lynda,

My wife Julie and I are going to make the QE2 Conference the starting point of our trip to Europe next year. We were in Glasgow a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it so we're looking forward to coming back again. I am looking forward to meeting in person some of those with whom I discuss progress on my model as well as an excellent excuse to talk about QE2 generally!

Hold a charity auction for that ticket - highest bidder gets the magic number...? ? ?


That also gives a better opportunity to get the event covered in the local media: "QE2 gathering raises £x for y"

Very good idea and very good way for publicity !  But are there any local restrictions on holding a charity auction or raffle for an item ?
