Brilliant pictures Myles, I especially like the last two photos.
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Good afternoon all,

Randomly came across this post and have something to contribute to Waverly's

Our company Marine towage services purchased the Multimammut  after the girting incident with the QE2.... Which was renamed MTS Victory.....(now GT Victory) ...We were handed a usb drive by the engineer of the tug at the time with news footage of the mammut going over copied to it
I checked back through my emails from over 12 years ago once seeing the post and luckily I had the mp4 footage in my sent items...
I hope this footage brings to life Waverly's post...
I've attached the mp4 but unsure if it will upload to the site , if it doesn't can Waverly please reply with an email address and I'll gladly forward , I'm not the best with forums and embedded attachments

Many thanks
Alfie

I found an old cruisecritic post about the incident too - https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/170786-qe2-nearly-sinks-tug/

Using that, took me to this old post - https://www.nettavisen.no/artikkel/dratt-under-av-cruiseskip/s/12-95-402264

and a few pics attached that I got from the wayback machine.

I'd like that please because I always have problems with .zip files.
