Don't they make ships her size list to the dock when in port?

Maybe some of the time, but this sometimes happened when she was docked facing out to sea from Southampton where her portside was dockside and she had a slight starboard list.

First sailed on QE2 in August 2003 aged 6 years old. Last sailed on QE2 in July 2008. Last saw the seagoing QE2 in person from the decks of QM2, on QE2's last Transatlantic crossing (Eastbound tandem) in October 2008. Visited QE2 in her new life, in Dubai, in January 2020 and August 2022.

When I was working on the QE2 during the late 80's it was quite commen to experience a list due to the wind hitting the superstructure on one side. Remember one atlantic crossing where we were about 5 degrees off vertical for three days....lot of jokes about one leg being shorter etc going around!!
Another time on smooth seas and no wind she suddenly took on a list that lasted for several minutes....turned out that some engineering cadets were experimenting with the stabilizer machinery!!!!

Does anyone have any photos?  I've just been looking for mine, I thought I had some, but I can't find one!

I have tried to find some photos illustrating this slight list in me and my parents photos but have not succeeded so far. The webcam photos are the best examples (excluding the fish eye etc) I've found besides our memories.
