Ship of the Month - QE2
Proud in her historical heritage... Elegant in design and service... Cunard's Queen Elizabeth 2 continues as a classic in world-wide cruising

I love this bit - "My voyages on QE2 have been one of my life's most exceptional pleasures.  If I even think of the passing of this great superliner I am enveloped in sadness.  If the QE2 goes, a whole world will have vanished. ......  But if Queen Elizabeth 2's the last word, she certainly makes a marvellous statement."
Passionate about QE2's service life for 40 years and creator of this website.  I have worked in IT for 28 years and created my personal QE2 website in 1994.

Photo of Cunard Countess alongside in St Thomas on page 11 too.
Don't just be part of her past, be part of her history!

Rob had found a little gem when he posted this 1981 Feature in Cruise Travel magazine.

It is wonderful to read the enthusiasm of the writer enjoying life onboard QE2.

Many of us can relate to having the same feeling when we sailed on the legend - The QE2

I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Sad  to report that I've never read this excellent item till today.
What a find & the whole magazine to boot, (not selected excerpts). Ironic & sad that I found myself reading about the very cabins that Dubai have just trashed.
Also closing lines looking so far ahed as to when QE2 wouldn't be around (at sea) interesting
All those ladies now gone & just memories, interesting also to read the report of then Vistafjord having major refit   hey ho ..
