Wasnt another pennant cut up and a piece given to all the crew onboard?
When it was carried down the Isle it really felt as though it was a coffin, a most strange and very sad moment for all of us that were there that day, It was in every way a funeral for QE2. And those who organised it really deserve top marks for such a moving ceremony, But they might have at least given us some warning....
I seem to remember the number given of pennants made were seven, and one was very nearly left behind in the cathedral, after the handing over ceremony it was folded up and tucked away....
