8 minutes of silent home movie including some shots of QE2 in West Indies in 1970 Classic! Note also the Tasmania Star (used to take some cruise passengers to South America and return full of beef!. Used to see her and her sister ship Paraguay Star a lot as kids at London Docks in the 60s)

NB I needed to download a programme called Vuze to watch this-so far so good

Another great find!  Lovely to see the brand new, sleek, radical, exciting QE2 !
Passionate about QE2's service life for 40 years and creator of this website.  I have worked in IT for 28 years and created my personal QE2 website in 1994.

The views of Sun (or is is Signal) Deck before the penthouses is also interesting.

Interesting old home movie that shows the QE2 with her slim funnel.  Also Captain Bil Warwick's cocktail party, and although the image is a bit blurred it still captures the moment.  I wonder how much more video footage there is around that we would enjoy seeing.
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

I sailed with Warwick as a Cadet. Obviously I was scared and awed by him...but he went out of his way when I met him and did "Bridge: time to make me feel at ease.
Fast forward about 7 years when he visited the ship in a suit.
He must have shrunk! I ran into him on A stairway in a suit. He remembered me! A true gentleman!
