Other ships

 I know these are not the QE2 but I 'd thought you might be interested in seeing some paintings of another ship . The ship in question is the 'Mauretania ' ..these were taken from old black and white photo's..what do you think ? peter... first picture is entitled ' Leaving New York ' and the second 'Steaming home'

Hi Peter - I really like your paintings.  The colors make them just a smidge art deco and while they capture actual moments, there is something surreal about them.  Good work.

Brilliant paintings Peter.  I particularly like the second one where the vibrant colours make the scene so dramatic.  You have certainly brought the old black and white photos to life with an injection of colour. 
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

thank you lynda , I 've actually sold that painting to an officer on a private yatch !(but he usually works on cruise ships)
