That's a total of 110 steps we've climbed (a total of 220 on the staircase as a whole).

You bet I've been counting Michael.  I have vivid memories from the 70's of many of the public rooms but for the stairways, with which for some reason I am fascinated, I am very hazy.  Your photo tour has clarified or brought back many recollections!

I just noticed the timbers holding up the Upper Deck in front of the Quarter Deck lifts (openings in the bulkhead at this point).

What a priceless era in shipbuilding!
