Trying the achieve the Lisbon crew shot (cancelled) on 13 November 2008.

Caught some of the preparations (or was it the cancellation?) on the bridgecam :

Interesting! That could be me on the quayside, I watched the crew muster for the picture.

Lynda, just found this.
Please put it where you wish to.
L-R  Rod Fair,  Cruise Director Bob Haines, Cadet Chris Balls, First Officer Nick bates, Second Officer Ian Taylor.
This was taken after a lifeboat race in NYC, date.... I am not sure, probably late 70's Race was from the Battery park to the WTC.

How great to see all those faces, they all still look like that in my memory, even you Rod. I am sure you are right about the time frame being late 70's.

There was some controversy with Ian Taylor as I recall regarding something written about him by John Maxtone-Graham. I don't know which book it was in, though I do remember there being talk of libel. Whether or not it went anywhere I have no idea.

Chris Balls was the rowing teams cox. Rumour had it that the PA announcer said. "Here comes the QE2 team with their Cox'n Balls"
