Have just seen the above programme listed in next week's Radio Times.

It is to be shown this coming Sunday (16th March) at 9.00pm (21.00hrs) on BBC4.

A box of tissues at the ready.

Which begs the question, Why repeat ? not that any of us are complaining.
It might spur some interest into find out what exactly is happening and perhaps grasp a new audience?

Thank you, Myles, for your post.  I am in agreement that perhaps the programme's audience will want to pursue what has become of our QE2 and interest newcomers in her history and fate.  Do you or anyone know if the programme can be viewed out of the UK ?  June

Fantastic!  BBC Four HD didn't exist back when this was first broadcast, so now I have a chance to grab a high quality recording.  Now they just need to re-broadcast the best ever QE2 TV programme - "QE2, The Last Great Liner" - https://www.theqe2story.com/forum/index.php/topic,4820.0.html

June, have you got a VPN for your PC/tablet/phone? If you have you can watch the BBC IPlayer using it - if not they are easy to get - try my-expat-network.co.uk, that's the one that I use - it takes 5 minutes to set up then you can watch anything on the Iplayer or any other UK networks. It's the only way you can watch any UK TV programmes outside of the UK itself.

Just looked at the screen grabs from before, I'm assuming it might be a slightly edited version of the past one with Mr Saville airbrushed from proceedings!

I had the same thought... I hope not though, you can't and shouldn't change history!  This also goes for the hundreds of hours of other BBC programming that he'll be in.  We were talking about this yesterday - there's a great BBC Documentary about the relaunch of the trains in the 70s and 80s, the adverts were all with him in them, and it would be a shame to never see this again.

Those adverts, Rob, are readily available on YouTube so the darker side of history is still available in those instances; it probably therefore will be in terms of QE2 as well even if the BBC would prefer to re-write history.

Enjoying watching the programme and good to see our very own Cunarder Man at the Captain's Cocktail Party.
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Thank you Lynda, it was such a surprise when we saw the programme first. It was great to be a part of history and we are all proud to play our part in keeping the legend alive.

Hi IainM - Thank you very much for the information on how to get the BBC programming.  Unfortunately, I was unable to set it up in time to see our QE2, but I shall set it up and be prepared in the future.  June
