If you're looking for the QE2's deck plans online and can't find them I've put them up on my website in a light-box presentation for ongoing use by all QE2 enthusiasts.

Deck Plans

I am sure all of you have many editions in various brochures tho!

Chris
l actually have a full set of general arrangement deck plans showing the full layout of each and every cabin, crew and passenger, as well as the full detailed layout of the whole ship, engine room and double bottom etc
To give an idea there are 5 sheets in the set and each sheet measures 5 FT x 3 FT.. yes feet !!!
Had some requests for copies of these on the other side... and when l can get round to it will get some copies run off and make availiable for the members here, will of course offer a special rate on here only, in fact one or two members here already own a set ;)
Im not sure if people actually realise just how good they are, but if you have ever wondered whats behind that door or what exists in crew country, its all on here...

Thats great Chris, well done (and clever you!) for preserving that from the Cunard site.

I have a PDF of the late brochure deck plans, which is great because you can zoom right in.

Myles - I think we need to come up with a way to get your huge ones online somewhere, not sure how though!

Myles,
Can I raise my hand and say I'd be interested in a copy?
I think the ebay Gods have been conspiring against me every time I've tried to get hold of a set by the auction route  :'(

Matt,
Perhaps we should compare sizes... :o l have a set as part of the book "Shipping World and ship builder" Jan 1969, you dont see it all that often but is has a 45 page section in detail covering many aspects of her building and the equipment onboard as well as deck plans.
Cunard did issue a blue much much smaller 2 sided plan as  part of the 1985 world cruise brochure pack (along with the Sagafjord brochure) and it again shows the layout of the passenger cabins, but thats about all it shows.
When l get my desk top back working again it has the photos and further details of what is shown to give you a more clearer picture of these sets of beauties and what they show, the attention to detail in the cabins is quite remarkable

Allow me to upload some of your deck plan scans which you sent me previously.

Pray tell Rob.  Could it be a ventilation shaft possibly?

Nope!
Its where the fairies live.... you know; the ones who sprinkle you all with QE2 magic dust while you're sleeping to ensure each time you awake you once again fall in love with the ship...?

A damn sight more lovely than boring old ventilation shafts!
