Hi,

I have been working on my model plans a lot recently, been working on the Boat deck this week, and am goign through all its various details and wonder if anyone know where photos of the window arrangement for this room/The London Gallery as built might be found.

I know there were origianally more windows than now, as the room used to be much longer until part of it was taken up by the kitchen, but because of the khaki paint on the bulkhead on this deck, it is hard to tell from most photos exactly how the windows were as built, especially as it only stayed as original until 1972!

I think there were originally 6 sets of 3 logn thin window instead of the 3 sets that remain now, but am not certain, any suggestions gratefully received!

Readin through this thread now, im amazed at what this innocent lookign space has been involved in! Thansk everyone for such great information!

Cheers  8)

There's a conference room on two deck aft????

Yes, it was near the Aft-Lobby and would have originally have been an entrance point for the ship.

This was where "Good Morning QE2" was filmed... the night before, of course ;)

On one cruise they used it as the collecting point for Duty free purchases.

All the duty free was unloaded onto the boardroom table.

I think that compared to dutyfree the crew had even cheaper rates....
