Thank you, Lynda, for bringing this topic to our attention. There are many wonderful photos here and it does seem that the photos and comments become more and more poignant as the years go by and our beloved QE2 is still stuck in Dubai. There is something especially moving about one (whether it be person or ship) leaving their birthplace for the very last time.
