Poll for September 2024 : Fondest Memories of QE2
« on: Nov 04, 2024, 03:01 PM »
The theme for the September 2024 Competition, "Fondest Memories of QE2" was chosen by the moderators.

Please vote for your three favourite photos. This is the first monthly competition of the 2026 calendar year, with winning and runner-up photos going towards the 2026 QE2 Story Calendar.

Voting is easy, but you need to be registered as a Forum member and log into the Forum to vote.  Whether or not you have submitted photos, please support those who have participated, by choosing your 3 favourite ones, noting the details, then tick the relevant boxes on the poll.  If you have entered photos, please do not vote for your own pictures.

Enjoy the great variety of the photos. Choose your three favourites, and let's aim for a record number of voters for this month's competition. Thanks to all who have entered photos, and thanks in advance for voting and supporting the competition.

We gave forum members two months to enter photos for the September/October competition so we are voting during November.

Having had a look at the pictures it will be a difficult task to choose just three favourites.
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Well, just voted, and i think its been the easiest choice yet, they jumped out at me , so l went with that.  However having cast my vote and then looking back lm not so sure . They each tell a different story.
Perhaps with a bit of luck, we might hear what those fondest memories are over time.
I was wondering once you vote, can you change your mind ? Perhaps this wasn't the easiest choice after all   ???

I have to say: How the ( insert expletive of choice ) are we supposed to choose only three out of that lot?!?!?

Somehow I've done it - with several changes of mind in the process.
