My older brother and I used to get this publication every week in the late 70's so after this article on the QE2. It merged at some point with another exciting magazine - Speed & Power. As I was interested in naval vessels first following annual visits to Plymouth Navy days I remember articles about the futuristic new Invincible class 'through deck cruisers' - to get round defence cuts on aircraft carriers -  and all metric Type 22 frigates - now all long gone.

As there were no new build passenger liners / cruise ships of over 30,000 gross tons completed in the 1970's I do not remember many articles during this period.

Happy memories of a good magazine - may still be a few in my parent's loft come to think of it!
