Talking about the Disney ships, I can confirm they do indeed play "when you wish upon a star" on departure - as witnessed first hand at Vancouver a few weeks ago when Disney Wonder left the dock. Certainly makes you wonder! I was doubled up laughing when I heard it.
The two largest Princess boats (Royal and Regal I think) play Love Story before they cast off in the evening - it sounds flat! Just blow the horn guys!!
