If you have not subscribed to receive the newsletter you can follow this link to read the May 2022 newsletter, which this month features the timeline for QE2's Falklands service, crew news, the story of how a Police launch rescued a couple in a Dory that had broke down in the path of the QE2, plus links to current discussions.

Now l can't say i recall anything about fierce Atlantic storms on either the outward or homeward journey .
There was stormy weather on her last crossing under steam power however.
From the moment you first glimpsed the Queen,
 you just knew you were in for a very special time ahead.!
