In the archive, there are eight gallery albums with photos from the cutting of the steel to the launch and some fitting out photos. Fantastic to see these photos have been digitised and preserved.
A few interesting photo on Photo Gallery 8 with a photo shoot showing Captain Warwick and other officers, along with men in suits. Can anyone identify who they are?
Also a picture of a tourist cabin with bunk beds, showing the quality of the wood used for the cabin and a first class cabin with double porthole. It looks quite small so possibly a single cabin. I like the bright colours of the sofa and chair.
