Hi,

Myself and "Singlemalt" Ali will be attending the V&A Dundee for the "Ocean Liners: Speed and Style" on the morning of 18th February.

Does anyone else want to come?  This will be my 2nd and final visit, given that the exhibition closes on the 24th of February.

If there was interest, we'd consider staying over there on the Sunday evening so we can have a catch-up, otherwise we'll just be doing a day visit.

PLEASE INDICATE IF YOU PREFER SUNDAY OR MONDAY.

Rob

Any more updates on this ?
I would be tempted (snow permitting) to arrive Sunday late afternoon and stay over and do the V&A "Thing"
Travelodge have an offer code 20OFF book by the end of January.
Im sure some culture would do me good.

Myles,

Ali and I are staying the Sunday night. I'll PM you with where. And doing the exhibition on Monday morning before heading for home in the afternoon.  We'd be delighted to see you and catch up.

We had such a lovely time at the V&A together today, it was a real laugh and quite emotional at times - a tear or two were shed when QE2 loomed into view with a blast of the whistle - at 12 o clock on the dot by coincidence!!

For me, my 2nd visit to the exhibition was even better than the first, and I was very sad to leave, knowing that not only would I never see the collection together, but that it would never be together again.

I do recommend the book very much.

We spent a whopping 3 hours there, really immersing ourselves in it.

More photos will follow because I remembered to take my good camera this time!
