August 2016 -- QE2 viewed from high places (closed)
« on: Aug 02, 2016, 12:59 AM »
This month's theme is "QE2 viewed from high places", chosen by Pete Hamill, the runner-up of the May competition.

The subject is open to your interpretation. It can be views of QE2 from a high place ashore, or views of parts of QE2 from a higher place on the ship.

The prize this month is the Isle of Man stamp set of QE2, donated by the Lynda Bradford and valued at GBP 10 at the time of purchase.

This looks like a splendid memento of QE2!

Alternatively, June Ingram has offered as a prize the jigsaw version of the winning photo. It will be interesting to see which is preferred!

The album is open --  so now is the time to look for your most interesting pictures on this theme. Wishing you happy memories as you search your photo collection to find up to three pictures to upload to the competition album.

This link will take you straight there : QE2 viewed from high places.

If you have not uploaded photos to the Forum Gallery before, have a look at these instructions, and if you have any problems, just contact us on admin@theqe2story.com. You could even email the photos to this address, and we can upload them for you.

The deadline for submitting photos is 31 August 2016. Voting will run from 1 September 2016 until 30 September 2016.

We look forward to seeing your photos in this month's competition.

This is the final month of photos for the 2017 calendar. Maybe your picture will be there!

Enjoy yourselves!  :)
