My Dad worked closely and was friends with Bob Coates. I remember the name instantly. I will ask Mum for any memories as i don't recall any details.

Its in my local paper as I come from around the Shropshire area. I didn't know he lived in Shropshire.

I asked my Mum about Bob Coats because I remembered the name.
She said he was my Dad's boss when he joined John Browns (70s sometime!) and then when he retired, my Dad took over his job as head of the Development department.
