Thank you, Manoel, for that excellent offer! I have had the pleasure of reading this story and have found it to be a wonderful tribute to QE2.

The document (some 50 pages) alternates between the story of QE2 as an ocean liner, the history into which she fits, and her technical details on the one hand, and Manoel's cruise with his wife in August 2008 on the other -- complete with pictures and reports of those ordinary days on board which to us were extraordinary at the time and, looking back, are now even more so.

The document is a tribute and a compliment not only to QE2 herself, but also to Manoel's enthusiasm for QE2 and his love of ships in general.
