Awesome photos, all of them!  I love that original funnel!

Re: the port everglades one - is that near where QE1 was laid up?

This topic is shaping up reallly well.  I have listed the ports of call we have photos of so far which hopefully will help us to identify more photos to post from our photo albums.  Where there is more than one photo for a port of call I have still noted particularly where the date is shown a that could be significant if we were looking for a photo of the ship in a particular year.

Lynda photos have been added here since this post, it would be great when you have time to update the list, thanks

Here is another photo of an early QE2 in Geirranger. The photo was taken by me in summer 1979.

Myself and the chief photographer (Tony Secker) were collected from the Port side of 5 deck fwd by a pre-arranged speed boat which took us on ahead to various spots in the fjord where the views were best. The other well known image taken side on was taken on the same trip and I think Tony took it.

The only print I have of this image is a 20 x 16 inch (A2) which I have been trying to get scanned for ages but nowhere seems to have a scanner of that size. In the end I have had to photograph it so the quality has suffered a bit.

Fantastic photos.  I particularly like the first image.   :)
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Hi all forum members.

This is one of my favourite photo's  that I managed to take of our Q E 2 when she dropped anchor in Dubrovnik
on Monday 3rd November 2008 for her last visit to this lovely City, and I wanted to share it with you.

What a beautiful picture, Barrie! QE2 in lovely surroundings and so busy -- plenty of tenders plying their routes.

Thank you for having uploaded it, so that we too can relive the moment with you. I am sure that you lingered and watched for quite a while... :) .

A lovely night shot but can't remember where it was taken. Possibly Las Palmas but really not sure.
