The Judge awarded them less than Cunard had paid into court. Which meant that the couple were responsible for the full costs of the hearing.

I think Cunard paid in £2500, and the Court awarded around a thousand, although I could be wrong with respect to the amounts.

Could that so called cupboard be the Brittania Club? I dined there on my crossing last week, open dining and fantastic service, surely not the same place? The only room resembling a cupboard around the Brittania Restaurant were the toilets and lifts........................!!!!!  Oh well each to their own and their no win, no fee solicitors!!!!

The 'Cupboard' is on the opposite side to the Britannia Club I believe... its called the Britannia Annex... personally I prefer it to the large restaurant because it is more intimate and less noisy! It is something like the Caronia Annex on the QE2 - expect bigger.
