Excellent, thank you.
Is it just something someone has compiled themselves, or is that the same video sequences shown in the cathedral?
It is a compilation made afterwards as the YouTube video description states: "No official video was ever released of this event so images have been added". It includes a few seconds of my Dad's footage from the final tandem. The video's thumbnail is also from my Dad's footage. I don't recall my Dad being approached about this use of his footage specifically, as a courtesy, although perhaps it could also fall under fair use in the US.
Unfortunately this is not the first, nor will it be the last time his footage has been "ripped"/"lifted" without the courtesy of asking (even having one of his videos "ripped" in it's entirety!), the thing being my Dad would be happy to grant permission in most cases anyway - as long as due credit is given. My Dad is equally frustrated by the "ripping" but is powerless to do anything about it.
"Reasonable" copyright (not the draconian music copyright situations) and the courtesy that goes with it seems to be going more and more out of the window as time goes on, on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Anyway rant over!
Ian's tribute is so very true and moving. His statement from QE2's portside bridge wing on her last day in Southampton still makes me emotional and always will I think, coupled with BBC South Today's wonderful "Viva La Vida" tribute - a song that suits QE2 far more and was more relevant to the situation than "Time To Say Goodbye" in my opinion.
