I stumbled upon this facebook post yesterday, in one of the thousands of groups that post things about Clyde ships, ocean liners or QE2.

They've stolen our slide, without credit, which makes me sad  >:(   Not even sure how they acquired it without the watermark, something dodgy going on there... although I think we did distribute images to a newspaper to promote our 2019 slide discovery, which were then used full-size and without our watermark on their website...

HOWEVER within the topic, someone has posted two gorgeous short colour video clips of the ship sitting in the dry dock with life buzzing around it.  Hope you can see them.
Passionate about QE2's service life for 40 years and creator of this website.  I have worked in IT for 28 years and created my personal QE2 website in 1994.

Facebook will have scraped it from that newspaper website - absolutely no question about that, given the number of times they've been in trouble for plundering entire machine memory files.

Sounds like a good source of amusement; any chance of a screenshot or a copy and paste for those of us who aren't on Facebook and who consequently get the screen covered with a "sign in or sign up" pop up...?

I know I was very sad when some years ago I went looking John Brown Shipping Yard on the River Clyde and it was a vacant lot
