The items featured were loaned from the Ocean Liner Museum, New York. Founded in 1987 it was the only museum in the world dedicated exclusively to passenger vessels. Its mission was to find, preserve and display memorabilia, ephemera and artifacts from the era of the ocean liner.
The two display cases contained a historical selection of Cunard publications, menus, promotional materials schedules, souvenirs were installed in 1994 as part of the Heritage Trail and displayed in cabinets outside the Computer Centre.
The collection was returned to the Ocean Liner Museum in October 2008 before the handover of the ship to Dubai
