Hello,  I with about 40 other classmates from Tulane University in New Orleans traveled to the U.K. for our study abroad program aboard the QE2, leave it unsaid that we had the time of our lives.  We are about to celebrate our 40th anniversary of the crossing and would like as much information about that particular voyage as possible.  Pictures, passenger lists, dinning arrangements and menus, technical details about the voyage, weather conditions, perhaps the Captain's Log, entertainment and lectures.  Basically the day to day diary of the complete voyage from embarkation to arrival.  I am looking for anyone who can point me in the right direction or can assist me with gathering this information.  I am new to this type of research and new to this forum, so any help will be sincerely appreciated.  Thank you, Harry

Hello Harry, you are very welcome in the Forum!

It is wonderful to hear that you had such a memorable voyage on QE2 in her young days. It must have been very special, that you have decided to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the voyage with your classmates who were on board with you.

You have come to the right place -- I am pretty sutre that there are people here who can help you to gather as many facts as possible. Whether all your wishes can be fulfilled, we shall see.

It is a pity that you cannot celebrate QE2 by undertaking another Atlantic crossing on her! How about doing it on her successor, QM2?

Welcome, Harry, to The Forum.  This is definitely the place to be for all things QE2.  I am sure you will be able to find much information, and I look forward to hearing more about you time on QE2.
