I know I might have put this in the wrong sub forum but this Movietone Film shows her 1969 interiors in full glory.

Thanks for posting Greg, I can see why you posted in the passenger areas topic area as there are some good shots of passenger areas.  Because it is the maiden voyage, would equally fit well in the 1970's, which is 1969 to 1979, but will leave it in this section for now. 

Brilliant to see the original interiors and staterooms. 
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Marvelous video, Gregg !  Thanks very much for posting it.  It certainly shows us a happy QE2 and all those sailing on her.

 Dennis Lennon et.al got it so right in 1969. Making the interiors of all other ships of the time bar the Canberra look decidedly old fashioned.
