For the record:

5075  from 19/06 - 01/07/2003 - Transatlantic Return crossings

5016 from 19/04 -25/04/2004 - Southampton to New York

3006 from 27/10 - 12/11/2005 - Mediterranean Cruise

4248 from 02/01 - 22/01/2007 - Southampton to LA World Cruise segment

3007 from 16/10.- 22/20/2008 - final Transatlantic crossing

All enjoyable outside cabins - although 5016 was tiny -  with differing layouts/quirks and location advantages / disadvantages.

I wonder would someone like to draw up a list, by deck, of the cabins we have all occupied

But first of all, there may be many more which our new members can contribute, as it is quite a while ago that we compiled this list.

That's the whole point of the thread isn't it? :)

It is a good point raised that we have more members now and they can no doubt fill in a few more cabin numbers for us...

I can add:

Cabin 5054 on me and my parent's first voyage in August 2003.

Cabin 3005 on our sixth and last voyage in July 2008.

Having trouble finding out the cabins on the inbetween voyages but do know we were on Five, Four, and Three Deck over the years - dining in the Mauretania Restaurant (Upper Deck) on our first couple/few voyages, and in the Caronia Restaurant (Quarter Deck) on at least our last voyage but I think our 2007 voyage too.

Thomas

Can now add Cabin 3010 for our fifth voyage in August 2007.
First sailed on QE2 in August 2003 aged 6 years old. Last sailed on QE2 in July 2008. Last saw the seagoing QE2 in person from the decks of QM2, on QE2's last Transatlantic crossing (Eastbound tandem) in October 2008. Visited QE2 in her new life, in Dubai, in January 2020 and August 2022.

I can now add:

4060 for our July/August 2006 Northern Europe cruise from the Travel Documents booklet we've kept.

5040 for our October 2004 Iberian cruise from the restaurant seating card and a poster from the Nursery with our cabin number on it.

One of the luggage tags from over the years has 5238 on it although my Dad didn't put the sailing date on it. However by deduction this must've been the cabin we had on our July 2005 Mediterranean Cruise.

After many years of wondering, trying to remember, finding our QE2 stuff we kept in different places over time, and some digging this is the complete list of the cabins my parents and I had over the years we sailed on QE2 as a family:

5054 - August 2003

5040 - October 2004

5238 - July 2005

4060 - July/August 2006

3010 - July/August 2007

3005 - July 2008

I also stayed in 1028 (just forward of Traveller's Cove) when revisiting the ship over 3 years ago in late January/early February 2020.

I can now put cabin numbers to the photos of me in the portholes over the years!

My three favorite cabins:  3156, compact inside single; 1049, original First Class double with one of 11 large oval windows; and for the life of me cannot find it, but on last NY departure to retirement in Dubai, I had Bea Muller's original inside double.  Could see why she liked it.
