QE2 had 963 cabins - one for each foot of the ship's length (an interesting yet irrelevant fact).
An interesting fact - although surely not a coincidence, Chris?!
About the cabins - is there a post or note here on the Forum regarding the different types of accommodation?
For example - family / adjoining cabins, single cabins, cabins that may / may not have had bunks - or sofa-beds (there weren't any of the latter, were there?)
Also, as there were adjustments to the use of accommodation, I wonder about the numbers of passengers as well as Crew that she could carry at the end of service - were these considerable more than at the beginning?
Message to Flagship - please, 'no worries' here, knowing that you are /have probably been exceptionally busy of late - it wouldn't be at all good if you thought this was additional pressure
