Watched the video, rather sad to see her looking deserted, also looks like maintenance lacking in some areas.
As ex Casino staff I really wish they would re-purpose the room, sad to see the slot machines sitting unused.
Plus the Casino was not an original feature onboard the ship.
Some of the things seem inexplicable, as they'd be cheap and easy to attend to. The vacant shops for instance - they will never need them again. They only have a purpose on a busy cruise ship. If you're shopping in Dubai, you'll go to one of the spectacular malls (although perhaps they do need one shop for QE2 souvenirs along with some basic essentials?).
His video is now at 182,000 views... maybe the team in Dubai need to do their own video, explaining the vision for the ship, and being realistic about what is open to guests, and what isn't, so that they don't come away disappointed like Tim was. He said he packed his suit imagining it to be what it used to be... how many others have done similar?
The one thing that really surprised me was the Lido food not being good - I had heard it was very good indeed from the people I know who had visited - whats happened?
