Title: Poll for October competition: Midnight Buffet and other photos of food

The theme for the October competition " Midnight buffet and other photos of food"" was chosen by Rob Lightbody.

Thank you to everyone who submitted pictures, which we really appreciate, and we hope that you enjoy choosing your 3 favourites.

Voting is easy but you need to be a Forum member and log into the Forum to vote.  Even if you have not submitted photos, please support those who have participated, by choosing your three favourite ones, noting the details, then tick the relevant box on the poll.  But if you have submitted photos please do not vote for the photos you have entered. 

To make it easier for you we have posted the pictures below, however you can also view the photos in the Gallery, where you can see them all at once, in thumbnail form, plus you can view larger versions of the pictures by clicking on the photo to see medium size, then click again, to see them in large size.

Oh, my !!   :)  Just look at all of the delicious foods and spectacular displays that were captured in photos from happy days on our QE2 !  This is indeed going to be a difficult decision.  I do know, however, that I will be looking at these photos over the course of the month and taking great pleasure in reviewing all of the wonderful choices of photos and of food !!   :) :)

Given that its all about food..What your QE2 food story....
I miss the late night BLTs and fries..then again the breakfast cinammon toast was something else..
But the fruit soups were always a goto on the menu.

I was reminded of the QE2 Gala Buffet on a cruise on MSC Melody in 2005 and the thought sprang to my mind..Leg or breast ;)
They allowed a period for taking photos, then it was a free for all.

Anybody remember Bobby from the Pavillion, he was do fruit carvings . a very talented guy. and always a joy to see .

Eight people have voted so far and a couple of photos are edging forward with the most votes. 

If you are on a diet enjoy choosing your favourite in the knowledge that there are no extra calories involved.   :D

The Main Course at Lunch photo particularly brings back happy memories as I often had deliciously cooked fish when onboard QE2.

Congratulations to Cunarder Man, with his "Little elephants at midnight", the strong leader this month.
