Another video ,possibly unseen previously issued by British Pathe' archive, lot of digging to do in the archive methinks. Sorry for any confusion on posting these seperately especially with realising all the work Lynda is doing behind the scenes.

Pete thank-you very much for finding this video footage of the Queen visiting QE2 in 1969.  It is wonderful to see the original interior of the ship, and the images are so clear for film footage that is over 40 years old.

Pete, you did not cause any confusion and having identified that the British Pathe videos were now on You Tube has given me the opportunity to see how we can easily fit the links in with the British Pathe topics.
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Brilliant find, it reminds me of the first time I boarded QE2 in 1983, spiral staircase, chairs in the a Queen's Room. Much, of course had changed by then. Did anyone notice the huge television on the wall? All very interesting. Bridge layout didn't change over the years.

Yes! This is a great video with QE2 looking very smart! Pete you area genius! :)
Lovely to see the Queen looking at the bust too, although difficult to see the Royal Standard.
I wonder when that arrived on board?
Also, are those wooden panels acting as screens around the Queens Bust?
Has anyone got a close up image?
They seem quite dark, yet the room looks extremely light - it was so clever to put ultra-modern pale coloured furniture - this, when first introduced for domestic use was on the whole disliked by older people in the UK!
The Queens Room looks so beautiful, and elegant in a way that wasn't often achieved with  early Sixties interiors - everything still being 'post-war'.
Thanks so much for doing lots of research, Pete
