The yacht club existed in 2 incarnations.  1987 - 1994, and a much larger one from 1994 until the end.

This photo shows the entrance to the original Yacht Club.  Behind the photographer, was the chrome doors to the Grand Lounge (renamed from the Double Up/Down room)

When entering the Yacht Club the glass piano was on the left side and the bar on the right straight ahead was 2 exists one each side towards the open decks.Sadly another bad decision was closing the area behind the photograher in 1994 thats when the staircase was added leading to Boat Deck.

When I was first there it was the Piano Bar, the the Double down aft bar.
Resident pianist was Flo Glenn.
Great pianist but ...well you have to ask.

The original Yacht Club(1987 - 1994)  at a very smart enclosed glass promenade aft. Here it is on Thursday 19 August 1993.
