QE2 Ladies Compact

QE2 ladies compact made by Strattor in England. I purchased for my mother after my first trip in1970/71. She passed a few years ago and I found it in her jewellery box just as I had given it to her. She showed everyone but never used it as she cherished it so much. She was so proud I was chosen to join such a prestigious ship as the QE2 to train in engine room especially as she had been hesitant in letting me join the sea training school at 16 before going on to join the ship for the first time in New York
