This website, and its discussion forum, contain the story of "the greatest ship the world has ever known", told through the stories and memories of the people who travelled on her, worked on her, admired her from afar or helped to build and maintain her. This site is the most popular site on the internet dedicated to this legendary ship.
This site is not connected with Nakheel, Istithmar, Cunard or any other company or organisation. The domain name was registered by Rob Lightbody in February 2008 and the forum was launched in January 2009.

Keeping an eye on QE2 in Dubai
& keeping her in the press.
In late April 2011, Rob Lightbody was the first person in two and a half years to be allowed to publish photos and videos which he took on board QE2 in Dubai. Visit the QE2 News section of the forum for more information.
Quite a few of our members have been to visit QE2 in Dubai and to check she's being looked after properly.
We also closely follow what is happening on a daily basis. Updates are placed on the forum first.
Get Togethers
We also host occasional get-togethers to share our QE2 stories in person. These can be on board the current Cunard ships, or at related maritime events. In 2010 we had a trip on the Paddle Steamer Waverley, a visit to the QE2's shipyard including a trip up the famous Titan Crane and for 2011 we intend to gather at the Tall Ships Race in Greenock.
